1956 Ford Thunderbird Restomod

Take some extra time looking over this 1956 Ford Thunderbird. Because while it has the iconic lines you love, this classic also has a full custom appearance. It includes the shining paint, comfy interior, overdrive transmission, and powerful V8 under the hood.
The '56 Thunderbird was already a sporty-looking machine. The hood scoop, faux fender vents, and afterburner-style taillights are all part of a package that made this two-seater look like quite a fast Ford. But where the pastels in the original color palette gave it a cruiser vibe, you can clearly see they went in a different direction here. The Emerald Green has the deep look of performance, and the added metallic element loves to pop in the sunshine (exactly what you want a on a sunshine-friendly convertible.) It's not just the paint that has been upgraded. It has cleaner lines front and rear with bight chrome bumpers that are presented without adornment. And the 15-inch polished Ultra alloys go nicely with this car's shining personality while also boldly announcing this is an upgraded T-bird.
The color-matched hardtop gives you a terrific coupe-like profile whenever you want, but a car like this was meant to be open to the world. So they made sure to continue the custom upgrades inside. The teal green/turquoise custom interior is a nice complementing color to the exterior (and you know that, because the dash is finished in the exterior deep green.) The seat is a custom button-top design that's far plusher than what you got from the factory, and we know you'll instantly understand the benefit of the cloth upholstery on the first hot day you hop inside. The door panels are finished on a matching cloth to makes this a very thoughtful upgrade. This remains a luxury cruiser for modern times with an AM/FM/CD stereo and a premium feeling with upgrades from the factory-original features. Even with these improvements, you still get classic elements like the Plexiglas speedometer and the machine-turned dash panel that flows across the dash and onto the doors. These are sporty pieces that go nicely with the upgraded sports steering wheel and well integrated new auxiliary readouts. And it all tells you to get ready for something special under the hood.

While the Thunderbirds were famous for V8 power, these first-gen cars left production before the horsepower wars really heated up. This one rectifies that with Ford's mighty 302 cubic-inch V8. It looks good with the tidy presentation. Plus, it has a full Edelbrock upgrade package with a set of Edelbrock ribbed valve covers, matching tringle air topper, performance intake, and powerful four-barrel carburetor. This delivers extra power and a sweet sound out of the dual exhaust. Plus, with the lowered suspension, power steering, and front disc brakes, it enhances the classic cruiser feeling. You even have a four-speed automatic transmission w/highway-friendly overdrive to enjoy this custom T-bird near or far.

Complete with owner's manual and restoration photos, this one takes the iconic look you love and gives it plenty of added power, comfort, and distinction. That's an irresistible package you need to get your hands on right now.
