Description:

1967 Ford Mustang

This Mustang was owned by a family friend who had a garage fire last month. Prior to this the car was a very nice weekend driver that they had owned for over 30 years. It was bone stock down to the wheels and air cleaner. Original colors were red with red interior and white top.

This is a C-code car with power steering and automatic transmission. The engine and transmission didn't get very hot but most of the wiring and rubber hoses are damaged. The engine still turns by hand and carburetor linkage moves freely. I'm sure it will run with new wiring and hoses.
Power steering setup is intact and doesn't appear damaged. Oil is clean and motor didn't take on any water from the fire hoses.

The car rolls and steers - it will come with wheels and tires but they may not the ones shown in photos. I borrowed those from a couple of my other projects.
Original 14" 5 lug steel wheels are included.
There isn't much sheetmetal that's salvageable but owners had just installed new floor pans a few months ago. Unfortunately the car was already pretty rusty underneath before the fire. Rear torque boxes are rusty and there's some rust through in the trunk floor. Someone installed angle iron braces on the frame as shown in photos. Rear springs collapsed from the heat so I have blocks over the axle to keep the suspension up.

There are a lot of good convertible pieces left - windshield frame (doesn't appear to be bent), boot trim, rear seat frames, top bow parts, and more.

I have a good Ohio salvage title for it as well.

Car is located in Amelia, Ohio just east of Cincinnati. We may be able to deliver locally for a fee.
