1969 Mustang Mach 1 matching # M code with A/C

1969 Mustang Mach 1, matching # M code 351W 4V, FMX auto, power steering, foldown rear seat and factory A/C. Candyapple Red with black interior. It is a factory red car that I purchased outof California and it still retains its original door tag.

The body on this car is very solid with virtually no rust and no previous rust repairs. The only rust I see is on the driver's front floor right along the outside edge. Still has original painton the floors. It has original quarters, floors etc. There are some dents here and there that can be seen in pics, the passenger door and fender have been replaced and there is filler in the right quarter behind the door. These repairs appear to have beenmade a very long time ago. All trim is present and glass is in good shape. The original wheels are in very nice shape and the tires have very good tread.

The interior has recently had new upholstery installed front and rear, new correct Mach 1 carpet and new door panels. All that is left to do is the headliner and dash pad. It has the lightteak woodgrain that is highly desirable. It also has the original foldown rear seat with no speaker holes.

It still have the original matching # M code 351W 4V with vin present on the back of the block. It is pretty much stock except for a set of headers and a Carter carb. The engine runs and doesnot have any knocks or unusual noises but is getting tired and has some blow by. The car does run, move and stop but is not a driver. It needs exhaust to be a driver and maybe some minor tinkering as it has been off the road for a few years. A/C is completebut will of course need to be serviced.

Overall this car obviously is in need of a restoration, however, it is a great place to start since the body is very solid and the car is mostly original. This will be a valuable car when donesince it is a true Mach 1, is factory Candyapple Red, is an M code 351W 4V, has matching numbers and factory A/C. This is a very desirable combination and getting hard to find.
