Description:

1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Standard

1973 Mustang Mach 1. 351 Cleveland, Automatic transmission. Originally a 2V carb, it has a period correct Holley 4V intake manifold on it and a brand new 600 cfm Holley carburetor on it. Original in all other items, including Air Conditioning, vinyl roof, power steering, and rear window defroster. Will start and move to get it on your trailer. I have it running on an auxiliary ignition/start switch and fuel can. Power steering worked until a hose got a leak, so belt was removed. Shifts and stops as it should.
It had a cosmetic accident on the Left Rear 1/4 panel. There is a small rust hole in the outer panel. Dog legs appear good.
Another cosmetic accident on the Right Front. Fender was put on it 1978, and is Ford OEM. Stamped 1976.
Floor pans and torque boxes are solid. Some rust on the rear frame rails as they approach the torque box. Some small holes in the trunk pan at the kick up. Bottom of doors are solid. Rockers are solid. No bubbles under the vinyl roof. Overall a very solid car. Original windshield.
Battery tray has corroded away, but the frame rail under it is solid. A new tray is included.
Engine runs well. Original radiator. Includes the original 2V intake manifold, carburetor, and lower portion of the air cleaner (no lid, unless I can find it.) Does not have ram air. The Original shock tower braces are included. Fuel tank was removed and sealed years ago and never hooked back up.
Interior is nice. No rips or tears in seats. C pillar trim is delaminating. Headliner is nice. Dash is cracked. Does not have a fold down rear seat. Package tray and door panels have aftermarket speaker holes. Dash wiring needs repair, hence the auxilixary wiring.
Original gas cap and 4th original aluminum wheel (not on car) is included. Original spare wheel and jack is included.
Does not include battery, jumper ignition, or auxiliary gas can. I will start it for you to load on your trailer and then remove these items.
I am representing the 2nd owner, who purchased this car in 1976. In a barn since 1978. 39,000 Original miles. It was parked because of "an axxhole ex-husband." Her words, not mine.

The Holley "Dominator" intake manifold was put on it back in the day. This is a spread bore 4V intake, not a Dominator sized carburetor intake. It had a Motorcraft spread bore on it, and the throttle shaft was seized. I put a 600 cfm 4160 Holley on it. It fired right up, and is running off of its original points distributor. The original 2V intake manifold and Motorcraft 2150 is included, and in very nice shape. Runs good, no knocks or ticks. Original alternator is seized up, belt has been removed.
Car has power brakes. The brakes work.
Radiator core support is solid. Shock towers, aprons, and frame rails are very solid.
Car is very original and unmolested, except for the intake manifold and the aftermarket speaker holes.
