1930 Ford Model A

1930 Model A coupe Hot Rod. Car was built to resemble a Hot Rod that would have been built in 1958/1959. Car was on the cover of Hop Up magazine and was featured in January 2019 issue. Engine is a 1958 Chevrolet 283 cubic in. with double hump/fuelie heads from later 327. Edelbrock tripower intake with three Rochester 2GC carburetors and progressive linkage. Engine runs on center carburetor and outer two come in when you really need to get on it. TH350 transmission with modified lokar shifter to look like manual, coin is pressed to select gear. Rear end is also out of 1958 Chevrolet that has been narrowed with new axles. Brakes are from 49-52 Chevrolet, stainless steel brake lines to all brakes. Brake pedal is 1955 Chevrolet. Brakes work excellent and you can lock them up easily if needed to. Suspension is chrome four bar front and rear. Front axle is dropped tube axle with leaf spring and tube shocks. Rear end is coil sprung with tube shocks and rides excellent. Perfect suspension setup for lighter cars. Steering is corvair box, stainless heim joints with polished stainless Limeworks steering column attached to 1946 Ford steering wheel, modified chrome trim.
