Description:

1967 Ford Mustang

This 1967 Ford Mustang hardtop coupe is finished in red over a black interior and powered by a 289ci V8 backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. I acquired the car from Philadelphia in 2004 and work over the course of ownership includes a repaint, engine and ignition updates, a transmission rebuild, and new wheels. More recent maintenance includes a new Holley carburetor, voltage regulator, and fuel filter.
Finished from the factory in Lime Gold (I), the car was repainted in 2005 in its current Lamborghini Diablo red. The rear deck lid was replaced and dent repair to the left rear quarter panel was performed at the same time.
15″ Magnum 500 wheels have some mild pitting and are mounted with BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires sized 225/60. Suspension updates include the installation of HiJacker rear air socks.
The interior features a RARE black bench seat (4A) with matching door panels and carpets. A center arm rest and matching lap belts are equipped, and a retro-style modern stereo has been installed by a previous owner.
The 5-digit odometer shows approximately 29k miles, roughly 3k of which have been added by the seller. True mileage may/may not be unknown. Noted equipment issues include inoperable factory A/C and incorrect readings from the fuel gauge. A new fuel sending unit is included in the sale.

The 289ci V8 is paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt 10 years ago. Modifications include an Edlebrock Manifold, MSD Ignition box, headers, and a stainless-steel Magnaflow exhaust. A HiPo air cleaner is equipped and houses a Holley 4-barrel carburetor installed in May 2019. A new voltage regulator, fuel filter, and belts were fitted at the same time.
Receipts and invoices spanning my 15-year ownership as well as receipts from the previous owner are included in the sale. Vehicle sold as-is.
