Up for sale is an amazing one-owner 1967 Ford F-250 Ranger Camper Special pickup truck. This truck was purchased new along with a Chinook camper, and used ONLY for recreational purposes. The Chinook camper was purchased one day after the truck, and remained mounted until I removed it.The miles are ORIGINAL at 48,000!It is in exceptional original survivor condition... It may be one of the nicest out there. The truck drives very well, tracks straight down the road and steers easily with the power steering. It also brakes well and straight with the rebuilt power brake system.

This is very straight truck having no overt presentation of rust. I have been all over the truck, including the underside.it has no rust-through issues anywhere, only minor surface rust where the original paint has been chipped.

The rockers, frame, cab mounts, corners, floors, bed, etc. are exceptional. The factory Camper Special sliding rear bumper is in great condition, the front grill and chrome front bumper are very nice, and the complete Ranger trim package is also very nice.Just a great-looking truck that's hard to beat for the money.... you'd have to spend over thirty grand on a restored rig to get a truck substantially nicer IMHO.

The original paint has just been buffed and polished, and shines nicely, as you can see.The hood and tailgate have been repainted; the truck was parked under a carport and the exposed hood was sunburned and oxidized. The paint match on the hood is excellent, as you can see.The truck still had its' original camper on it when I came into possession, and the tailgate had gone missing.I painted a perfect, original 1967 tailgate to match. There are minor Wimbledon White touch-ups down low where the original white paint was rock-chipped; otherwise you are looking at all original paint with nothing hidden, including in the door jambs, under the hood, and in the bed.The bed is also completely rust-free and left in as-found condition so you can see how nice it is.

The interior is gorgeous, and features a beautiful uncracked dash pad, amazing original gauge cluster, original headliner and matching sun visors, new carpet (the only worn part of the original interior!), original fancy Ranger seat upholstery and door panels, etc.An extremely nice-looking interior; as you can see. I would go as far as to call it stunning. The steering wheel is not even cracked, and is the nicest surviving example I have ever seen.Everything seems to be in working order, including the heater, fan, lights, turn signals, cabin light, and wipers. No modifications whatsoever; original radio still present!

The door weatherstrip is original and still supple. The doors literally open and close as new.The windows roll up and down as smoothly as the day it was new. I've been involved with classic cars and trucks for decades, and this is as nice a survivor as you will hope to find.

The wheels are original factory Ford steel wheels still wearing the original hub caps; a timeless classic look. The in-cab fuel tank has been cleaned and serviced, and the big Camper Special fuel tank is still present as well. The mirrors are the original Camper Special versions in great condition, too.

Mechanically, the truck is in great running and driving condition. The fuel pump has been replaced, the carburetor rebuilt, new hoses and belts installed, new tune-up parts and a fresh tune, new oil, filters, and fluids. The brake system was just gone through with a new booster and master cylinder, new front soft brake lines, and new fluid. The balance of the brake system has been inspected and adjusted. The rear full-floating Camper Special HD axle has been serviced, and the bearings greased. I also just had the transmission fully rebuilt and a new torque converter installed. The truck starts easily and runs well. The windshield has a small crack; I could have it replaced before it ships if you so choose. The tires are in sound condition, but are old... you will want to install new tires before making this your classic daily driver.

While not a flawless truck, this is an amazing, original surviving classic Ford that you can climb in and enjoy exactly as-is, and drive with pride.

While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 52-year-old classic, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied.

Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction's end via cash, deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer.

Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I own a classic car restoration shop (Rose Lane Restorations) and can recommend a reliable and affordable broker who I have used many times... ultimately the choice must be yours alone.
