Description:

1966 Ford Mustang Convertible

This totally rust-free vehicle went through a 4 year rotisserie, nuts and bolts restoration at a cost of over $30,000. This vehicle has only 81,136 actual miles and has been driven to the car shows less than 500 miles since fresh restoration in 2017. It is finished in the original color of Springtime Yellow exterior and black vinyl interior. The car is equipped with the rebuilt original 289 2V, V-8 engine, rebuilt cruise-o-matic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power top, working vintage A/C, full working instruments, console, new styled wheels with new "Uniroyal" white wall tires, vintage radio, driver's side remote mirror and dual exhaust with "H" pipe with trumpet style tailpipes coming through the rear valance. The under-carriage is sprayed with red oxide primer and every component has been rebuilt, restored or replaced. The car has the correct VIN stamping on the driver's side inner fender. The car has razor straight body panels and shut lines. The doors can be closed effortlessly with the touch of the index finger. The pictures do not justify the actual condition of this car. This vehicle runs and drives great. Full disclosure: Paint is an 8 out of 10 (a couple small spots appear to have lint in the clear coat, may buff out.) I'm selling this for a friend, and it's advertised locally so we reserve the right to cancel the auction early if there are no bids. This is a NO RESERVE auction so bid and take this beauty home!
