Up for sale is the rare 1966 Ford Futura Station Wagon.
This is a rare find with the original 289 Engine and C4 automatic transmission.
Here is a great hot rod project that is complete and in absolutely great condition. This car is complete with what I believe is the original engine all of the glass, trim, interior and even the rooftop luggage rack. The only things I see that are missing are the interior armrest and radio. All doors open except I am having a problem opening the rear door and the rear glass is there but it is down inside the door. This is an original CA car that was brought to AZ in 1988 and then parked and has not been on the road since. There is a little rust in the bottom front of the front doors and a few bubbles in the passenger side back door and a tiny spot in the very rear of the car all areas should be easily fixed with patches. The front grill has also been tapped and might need to be replaced. The rest of the floors and rails are perfect and will not need any rust repair. This is the type of car that you would expect to find out here in the desert. I purchased this car from the gentleman who purchased it a while back at an estate sale. There are no keys or title (it will be sold with a bill of sale) but before I purchased it I checked with both the CA DMV and AZ Department of Transportation and neither state had this car in their system since it has not been registered in 30+ years. The interior will need to be restored but the back seats might only need to be cleaned. The exterior is up to you either keep the patina that it has or put some type of custom paint job to make it look like a hot rod. The engine will have to be rebuilt but overall a very easy job on an incredibly solid car.
