Description 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup
Listed on behalf of Monte Shelton.
Located in PORTLAND, OREGON.
This 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup was restored some years ago to show level and received the Award of Excellence from the Model A Ford Club of America. It today shows 387 miles on the odometer, which we believe to be the mileage since restoration. Recently, this truck was refreshed, including new paint on the hood, cowl and doors, with the body and fenders then being polished. It presents very nicely today as seen in the photos and video.
Mechanically this A is excellent. Smooth running engine. Transmission shifts easily. Brakes stop smooth and straight. I have personally driven this truck and it operates very well as would be expected.
The interior was replaced at the time of restoration. Shows nicely today. Upholstery shows no wear. Excellent fixed-position roadster soft top. No side curtains. Oak bed and side rails are very nice. A custom tool and storage box was fitted in the bed, offering closed space for parts and luggage when on tour.
Overall, this is a very nice A for touring. Would also make a great rolling advertisement for a business.
