Description:

1970 Ford F-250 Ranger

1970 Ford F-250 4x4 Factory Original Highboy (F26 VIN) Ranger model with Air Conditioning. Barn find, very rare, (4x4 Ranger with Air Conditioning) low mileage, unmolested, original California truck. 2nd owner. Original paint/great patina on cab and chassis, NO BODY FILLER or BONDO on this truck, truck had a flatbed on it most of it's life, which I removed and I bought a rust free, original 1970 matching original matching Ford bed and tailgate for it. The bed was media blasted 100% inside and out, and underneath, on a rotisserie and then epoxy primer powder coated. The truck's original owner installed 1971 grill inserts, but the original 1970 grill inserts are included. Comes with all original parts to complete truck, including the matching 3 1/2 " original Ford Ranger side trim for the bed, wheel well moldings, tail lights and side markers, both front and rear bumpers and brackets (brackets were blasted and powder coated), original factory Ford West Coast stainless steel mirrors, gas cap and saddle fuel tank (fits under drivers side of bed in front of rear wheel). I purchased a set of Factory Camper Special wheels and had them media blasted/powder coated and original wheels are also included. the ranger emblems for the bed were mounted on the front fenders by the original owner. I was going to put them back in their original location on the bed, after the bed was painted. Factory 360/4speed.The interior is original. Truck ran great but has been sitting for years. It will need typical maintenance/tlc like a battery, fuel/fluid flush, and carb rebuild etc. to make it a driver again. Truck has never been off-roaded or abused. EXTREMELY hard to find an original rust free truck like this one. Please feel free to ask any questions, I have restored five 67-72, and one 76 4x4 Highboy, and currently own 3 including 2 Sport Customs, an XLT Ranger and this Ranger. I know these trucks inside and out and would be happy to answer any questions.
