This is an exceptional example of an older restoration of a 1929 Ford Model A Roadster. How often is a Ford Model A part of two important collections of classic cars? This Model A Roadster was restored by one of San Diego's top collectors of classic cars, Chuck Swimmer. Chuck had several top award winning motorcars at venues such as the Pebble Beach Concours. This was his Model A that was part of his collection. Mr. Swimmer loaded this roadster...with as many accessories as possible, using whenever possible authentic pieces rather than reproduction. Money was not an object. After Mr. Swimmers passing, the car was sold to another major collector, Bill Habeger, also of San Diego. Mr. Habeger wanted to ensure that he had a fine example of a Model A that could be enjoyed on AACA and other tours. After several years, he sold the car to Pedro Meyer of our San Marcos showroom. While the restoration is showing the slightest patina, it still looks fantastic and is one of the nicest around. It has accumulated a total of 533 miles since restoration.
