I have personally owned this car since 2014 and the previous owner purchased it in 1978 in southern CA. From 1978-2014 the car was owned an operated in the CA high desert. The body is very straight and solid other than some rust repair spots on the drivers side floor pan and rear of the wheel well. The car was torn down, repainted (first repaint), upholstered and had the engine overhauled in the 1980s. The previous owner did most of the work himself. He stated that the engine was just freshened up with factory ford pistons/rings on a stock bore. He verified that the inside of the block was marked with orange paint to ID the HiPo. Rally pack tachometer is not working. Power top works great. Has some aftermarket parts like a hone overdrive, roll bar, exhaust, engine dress up ect. Odometer shows 26k miles and I believe it has rolled over once putting the total mileage at 126k. Car needs to be gone through / restored. The Car now has steel wheels on it not the black repop rally wheels shown in some of the pictures. The pictures with the top down were taken last year, and the pictures with the steel wheels were just taken on 2/12/19. Car was last running in April 2018, we moved to our new home in Phoenix and I haven't had the time to clean the carb and flush the fuel. Very rare early production mustang, restored versions are worth upwards of $100k! Just testing the market to see if its worth selling, I do not need to sell and I am in no rush to sell. I will accept cash in person or a bank wire, bank wires will be given a 48 hour hold until fully cleared before the vehicle is released. I encourage potential buyers to come see this car in person, I am 45 min north of the Phoenix Airport fly in and Uber over. I have a clean clear title In hand.
