1935 Ford Other Pickups

This is a very original 1935 Ford pick-up owned by the same family since at least the 1970s. It was restored in the 80s by these folks and has been used sparingly since then. This little truck starts, runs, drives and stops as good or better than it did when new. The chassis is the best, cleanest most rustfree example I have seen in many, many years. Check out the clean, unblemished and unmodified frame braces and battery box for example. The only thing missing on the chassis are the shocks and they are in a box. This truck still has all the original Ford tools mounted under the seat along with all original keys and locks which all function including the spare tire hubcap lock. Wheels are very nice original 16" wires and have been powdercoated the original green. Tires are good wide whites but because of the age I would consider replacement is and trips are planned. Speaking of trips I have had the truck up to 50 MPH for quite a distance and all worked well including the original mechanical brakes. The is a stack of receipts to document the restoration and evidence shows the only non-original items being the 1937 shortblock and Holley/Stromberg 94 carburetor both common replacements in the days of babbit bearings. Recently the carburetor and generator were rebuilt thanks to Charlie at Vintage Speed and Mac at VanPelts. Paint is good driver quality and the interior is LaBarron Bonney from the 90s. Bed wood was also replaced as was the wiring harness from Rhode Island. Lights and gauges currently function as intended with the original 6 volt system. In the interest of being up front the driver side rear fender(metal) could have been done a little better and the passenger side rear is fiberglass. Interesting trade-in plus cash considered, it never hurts to ask. As always, no test pilots. Title is a free and clear NYS transferable registration/title in my name with the correct vin number displayed where it belongs and easily readable.
