1967 Ford Mustang

Back in Black and ready to rumble! This '67 has an upgraded engine paired with a manual transmission and backs up those seriously good looks with some serious intentions. Check it out. Sharp new chrome is always a good look on a glossy black car. When it's on a first gen Mustang, its all that much better. The crisp, clean lines of the Mustang really catch the light and make the car look like it's moving even when it's standing still. The hood adds to the effect with pins to hold it down along with a big 'ol scoop. The grill is trimmed out in chrome with the iconic galloping Pony in the center along with a set of fog lights as well as a fresh chrome bumper underlining it all. Dark gray 16 inch 5-lug alloy wheels with GT centers and polished rims look fantastic with the black paint, and polished rocker trim connects the look of the wheels nicely. The back of the car couldn't look any better with Mustang in script on the trunk lid, those classic Mustang three-part taillights trimmed in chrome underneath it, and another fresh bumper with twin chrome exhaust tips peeking out from under it completing the look. Open the door and you will find that the Black and Chrome theme continues on the interior. The door panel looks good in black with paint transitioning to smooth vinyl, then chrome trimming out the pleated center section with the armrest, door handle and window crank. A wooden steering wheel mounted on a polished three spoke hub with a red, white and blue Mustang center button sits in front of a nicely upgraded dashboard. White faced gauges look great trimmed in chrome against the black panel with a Sun Super Tach II sitting in the center. Ventilation controls include those for air conditioning to keep you cool on hot summer days, and a Panasonic stereo provides the tunes. The shifter for the 5-speed manual transmission is topped by a wooden knob and is capped with a Mustang badge. Reinforcing the sporting nature of this car is a roll bar behind the front bucket seats that adds a bit of attitude as well as a bit of safety. Pull the pins to raise the hood and you will find a healthy 302 cubic inch motor tucked down in the engine bay. A Ford blue oval wing nut holds down a chrome air topper with a Holley 4-barrel carb mounted underneath it. An Edelbrock Performer 289 intake manifold gets the mixture to the cylinders where MSD gets the spark to it through fresh plugs, cap and wires. Black Ford Racing valve covers look great against the Ford Blue engine iron and long tube headers get the spent gasses out and headed back to Flowmaster mufflers. Fresh belts and hoses keep everything turning smoothly and temps under control and new A/C lines assure a comfortable cruise on hot summer days. Power flows back through that 5-speed trans to the rear axle mounted on fresh multi-leaf springs while the front end has a beefy sway bar to keep the car cornering flat and ventilated front disc brakes to haul this car back down from speed if you decide to let this Pony run. A gloss Black '67 Stang with a 5-speed 302 putting the rubber down through low profile 16s. What's not to like? Come on down and check out this driver's car. You might decide that your garage needs you to get Back in Black.
