This is a great barn find and foundation for a unique street rod or complete restoration. It is my intent to describe this vehicle in as great detail as possible, but I highly encourage all interested individuals to be thorough by viewing of the photos with this listing and asking any questions you may have. At Montana Vintage Tin, LLC we strive for the highest of customer satisfaction. Please feel welcome to post questions via the eBay message board or find our contact info online. This vehicle has a clear Montana title and we will also issue a notarized Bill of Sale.
Engine/Transmission/Rear End: The running gear under this car is original and complete. The engine turns free and, although I have not had it running, I am told it will. Given its completeness, I believe it will. The transmission shifts in and out of gear and turns freely in neutral.
Body/Sheet Metal: This is an original Briggs body and is complete. It is the nature of these bodies to have wood for structural support. The wood is good enough to keep the body together and would definitely serve for pattern making, but a new wood kit would be a good idea. The sheet metal is in very good condition with only a few places needing repair. In some areas the paint has flaked off leaving bare metal that has surface rusted. Fenders are in primer and in very nice condition along with the running boards and splash aprons. The hood and deck lid are also included and in nice condition. Montana Vintage Tin, LLC is an authorized dealer for the complete line of Brookville Roadster reproduction parts. We would be happy to help supply any/all body/sheet metal parts you may deem necessary in a separate purchase.
