1955 Ford F-100

A true California truck, frame off restoration. Every nut and bolt replaced with mostly stainless steel. The engine is a Ford 302 HO roller moto, professionally rebuilt. The intake manifold is a polished aluminum hi-rise, with a Edelbrock 600 cfm carburetor . The cam is a Ford Performance 303, Ford Performance Jet Coat (ceramic coated) headers, billet aluminum electronic distributer, Flame Thrower 50,000 volt coil, topped off with a Spectra washable air cleaner and Ford Performance valve covers. The radiator is a new four core with a brass tank and transmission cooler built in. The transmission is a Ford C4, professionally rebuilt connected to a Ford 9 inch rear end with 3.50 gears and 11 inch drum brakes with leaf springs and Gabriel shocks. The exhaust is 2 1/2 inch with Flow Master pro-40 mufflers. Exhaust tips are rectangular (Camero style). They are stainless and exit in front of rear wheels. The frame has been completely stripped and coated with POR15 (rust prohibit paint ). The front suspension has been completely rebuilt. It is a Plymouth Volare, adjustable torsion bar, power steering, power disc brakes, and polyurethane bushings. The power steering box is a new rebuilt. The truck rolls on BFGoodrich T/A radials, P235X15 by 7 inch wide on front and P255X15 by 8 inch wide on the back. The wheels are steel chrome reverse with baby moon caps. The seats are Cadillac 60/40, 6 way power, covered in beige leather. The steering column is a Ididit tilt wth a column shift. The radio is a Pioneer with remote control hidden in the clove box.Dash is polished billet with six Auto Meter gauges.The bed has been done in oak with polished stainless strips from Dennis Carpenter. Front and rear bumpers are chrome with chrome brackets and stainless bolts. The undercarriage is as clean as the day it was assembled. DuPont Spectra Master red was shot on the body, base coat, clear coat. The truck drives and shows real well. It has won many trophies. It is a 4 year old rebuild with 3,500 miles on it.
