Description:

1968 Ford Mustang

ORIGINAL OWNER FROM 1968 TO 2017. 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible C-code 289 3-speed on the floor. Has factory power steering, a/m radio, power top and console. I purchased this car recently for the sole purposed of reselling it. I have not done one thing to the car since I purchased it. I have a clean and clear title and also have the Cash Car order form from University Ford Sales Inc. 302 East University, Champaign IL 61820 when the original owner ordered the car. Also included are all of the license plates and registrations from the ORIGINAL OWNER FROM 1968 TO 2017 that are pictured. Convertible top is rough, but does keep the rain off your head and the interior could use an upgrade. It has an exhaust leak, but does run and drive. In the trunk was also a an old box with what looks like a car cover that was ordered by the original owner. Below is the listing when i bought it recently and what the guy did to the car as he knew a lot more about the car then I do.

1968 Ford Mustang convertible. 289 3speed console shift. Has factory power steering, a/m radio. This is your chance to own a classic that needs a little tlc. Perfect father son project.
Bought the car from the original family, the wife bought the car brand new in 1968 from Champaign IL. once she passed it got titled to the husbands name. Then titled into my name. Very low owner car with clear title. I do have the original 1968 plates for the car as well. The car runs and drives but has a overheating issue. I'm not longer going to put time and money into it I got other projects I would rather be working on. Suspect its a defective new water pump but I'm not messing with it anymore. The car would be a nice driver or weekend cruiser body is not perfect but still shows well and it's not too nice that you're afraid to drive it. The top and interior are still all original 1968 and show there age but some tic and little repair would be good. Car is a solid base to finish and enjoy at a reasonable cost.
