I bought this 1930 closed cab Ford Model a pick up truck from a estate sale in 2013. I was told it was a 2 owner truck. it was running but needed some TLC. I put a new top o, new seat covers, new hubcaps, fresh tune up, fresh gas and it fired right up and i have been using it as advertising in our town locally since then. I decided not to paint the truck and preserve the patina since it is a very solid truck all steel. It was missing a window regulator and the glass was broke int he doors. i had new glass cut for the doors and put a new regulator and window crank in the door, but never got around to installing the glass. As pics show the new glass is included in the sale. The title matches the vin . the engine was produced in may 1930 and in my opinion it is the original engine.
The engine runs great with no smoke knocks or misses. The most driving I ever did with the truck was typical half mile parades and quick trips to local stores less than a mile away. I would flush the radiator if you plan on long trips seeing that it hasn't been used much. look at the video and study the pics, i did a 2 mile run with it for the video and ran it the entire time.
It is a blast to drive. in my opinion this a rare truck that has survived without going through a complete restoration. It gets more looks and smiles and pictures than most of my restored cars in my collection. call me with questions. 563 568 5111. it comes with a clean title ready for you to register.
