1954 Ford Ford 250

Here we have a one of a kind blast from the past!
HISTORY....Sold brand new in 1954 at Gordon Reid Ford in San Leandro, CA., this truck has remained in Central California ever since. Richard Kraus used it as a mobile Big Rig service truck from the time he purchased it until approx 1993. The oldest registration I have is from 1963 but I believe he owned it before that. The hand lettered doors are 100% authentic and of that era. ALL of the tool boxes are full of period hand tools and power tools....Plomb, Blueline, Craftsmen etc. Way too much to list or catalog. Many of the heavily used tools are hand engraved with a "K" for Kraus. This man took care of his tools and his truck.
CONDITION....This truck iscompletely rust free. The sheet metal is in remarkable shape given the fact that it was a working service truck. The front fenders have both had dents hammered out over the years, but the rest of the truck is untouched, right down to the black and yellow plates. The original orange paint is still visible in areas, such as the interior and engine bay. The original 223 straight six fires rightup and runs like a sewing machine. It is a fully functioning vehicle andregistered until 2019. With that beingsaid itsbeen off theroad since 1993 so I would go through everything before driving it a longdistance. Everything works as it should, lights, brakes etc.
This truckreally tells a story and as such Iwelcome any serious buyers to view it in person. I can also be reached at 626 437 2567 for any questions.
Clear California title in my name. Actual shipping cost is to be payed by the buyer.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
