The Ford Thunderbird was a large, luxurious halo car that brought style and features to the Ford range. Traditionally a two door personal coupe, the Thunderbird was originally designed as a response to the Chevrolet Corvette but soon morphed into a cushy personal luxury car. The car went through numerous changes but still range true to the Thunderbird ethos. The tenth generation Thunderbird hit the market in 1989 and was sold until 1997.
