1966 Ford Mustang

I've decided to keep my favorite cars and the 1956 Ford from my high school days is almost finished, so I have to make room andsome tough decisions. There will be two of my Mustangs being sold separately this week. They have been off the road for a number of years waiting to be rebuilt. Both run ! The dark aqua one is a six automatic with a really good body. The red one has a modified V8 with a four speed, but has a little repairable rust, last plated in 1979, but was told yard driven around 1985, engine was prepped for storage back then.

This ad is for theRed one, which originally was amaroon witha black interior by the door tag. Actual mileage is unknown, but may be correct. This was the typical hot rod in the eighties: Edlebrock F4B intake(open plemium)with Holly4 barrel,, mild street cam, tube Hedmann headers thru glasspacks (definite lope from cam and sounds really good), Mallory dual point distributer (in spare parts box)and working tack. Mustang also has Lakewood blow proof bellhousing,Car feels very strong, but needs final tuning, I just got it running this yearto move around,Never got to the brakes.....Four speed thru ford 9" rear with air shocks. Under carriage was painted white at some point ( big thing in the 80's). I placed the aluminum mags from this car on the aqua mustang and had purchased a set of original 14" by 7" rims, hadthem powder coated, but decided and purchased the magnum 500 rims with tires.(new center caps on dash). Other new items: radiator, oil and filter, tune-up, carb rebuilt (not dialed in), new carpet and underlayment, sound deadner, New brake power booster and master cylinder for the brakes, HD battery and cables, wheels and tires, sunvisors, new chrome trim items and engine decals, check all spare parts in pictures, I'm sure, I'm missing some items. (I'm 72).

Clean Illinois title inmy hand and it is "NO RESERVE" Auction. I will not stop the auction after the first bid is made. Doo, fender, and title numbers all match.
