Description:

1975 Ford F-350 F-350 RANGER XLT CREW CAB

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION:
Too cool of a truck to just be sitting in our toy shed. My dad and I love Highboy Fords and we love the 12 Valve Cummins Diesel. We finally were able to put the 2 together to make one tough truck. It has now been sitting in our shop for about 2 years and we just don't drive it enough. Time to move on.
Check this thing out!
The 12-valve CUMMINS Diesel engine AND matching transmission came out of a 1-owner 1991 2-wheel driver Dodge truck. It was a local farmer, old man's truck with 172,000 miles on it. It is an intercooled 12-valve with automatic, Over-Drive Transmission.
All of the fabrication work was done by a local, extremely professional machine shop that we have known for years - 1st class! We were able to keep and reinstall the Dodge glow plug/wait to start light and Transmission O/D button in the dash. IT HAS A/C, TILT, AND CRUISE CONTROL - THEY ALL WORK! Cruise control even works from the Factory Ford buttons on the steering wheel. The truck is 100% FORD (other than the engine & tranny).
Here are a few more highlights:
  • New 3" lift kit
  • New shocks
  • New brakes
  • Dana 80 rear & Dana 44 Front with High Pinion Disc Brakes
  • Freshly rebuilt '79 steering box
  • Freshly rebuilt drivelines
  • Front end alignment
  • New seals & bearings and fluids
  • New 35x16 tires and wheels
We went bumper to bumper on this drive-train, all new fluids and seals where needed.Transmission, front end and rear end all of new fluids - no leaks.
The body is in good shape. There are dings and scratches but no major body work. Has a really cool look as it sits. The floor pans (front and rear) are RUST FREE! There are a few small rust spots in thebody, primarily in the front of the bed (have photos). Chrome front and rear bumpers.
The interior is also in good shape. Not perfect, but the seats and carpet are original.Again, everything works (A/C, tilt, cruise & allother electrical).
THE TRUCK DRIVES DOWN THE FREEWAY 70MPH WITH EASE - ZERO VIBRATIONS.
The Cummins conversion was done right.I have lots more photos of the undercarriage and engine compartment - please only for serious buyers!
Let me know if you have any questions at all.
Thanks,Pete
