Here is the most awesome 1986 Shortbed F150 to be found! I bought this off the original owner who took it and had it completely undercoated the day it was purchased new. It was ordered in without a rear bumper and had the dealer install the chrome trailer bumper that is still as new and currently on it. He waxed the bed religiously under the bedliner (included with purchase) The truck struck a deer on the right fender in 1989 and the owner was afraid the paint wouldn't match so he had Angelly's Auto body in Harrisburg Il. repaint the entire truck in base coat /clear instead of the 1986 single stage paint. It is the original spruce green for 1986. In 2001 the owner bought another f250 and parked this 86 inside his 3 car garage where it never moved until I bought her in 2016. I completely went thru fuel system, new tanks, sending units, filters, hoses, all fluids, plugs, heater core, battery, and she fired right up. The hubcaps are original and the wheels which are now running on new BF Goodrich 33x10.50x15's . The chrome on this truck is what amazed me. The fender trim and bumpers are shiny and excellent. The paint has a few small chips here and there but no eye sores and nothing major. Only imperfection I could find in the metal is a small rock ding in front of the passenger side bed fenderwell. It is from the underneath, not in the paint. I didn't see it for over a year, barely noticeable. The interior is near flawless, crack in vinyl seat edge and a small crack on top of dash in speaker screen. The plastic door panel is a little faded on the drivers side. No rust anywhere except very light surface rust on edge of inside bed and tailgate. Owner put clear coat over it to prevent any further damage. The white seen in the pictures of the bed is wax the original owner applied to stop rust from forming under the bed liner. This truck was truly a one owner, taken better care of than imagined, always been garaged inside and is the best shape survivor 80"s Ford I have ever seen. If you are truly interested then email me your phone number and we can can do a complete walkaround. Buyers welcome to come inspect before purchase also. No surprises...email any question. More than happy to talk to you about this beauty. Son is starting second year of college and I thought I would never sell this but times have changed.
