1949 Ford Other Pickups MERCURY M-3 F Series F! F2 F3
Probably the nicest original condition F series truck I have come across inside and out from the estate of the original owner. You are bidding on a very solid 1949 FORD MERCURY M-68 PICKUP TRUCK.Manufactured by Mercury Division, Ford of Canada it is the Canadian equivalentof the Ford F-3 series. The original flathead V-8 motor turns freely and should fire up with a little tinkering but needs to have the gas tank taken offto be cleaned. Keys are still in the ignition. The body, cab, floors, and box areabout as solid as you will find. Only rust areas that I noticed were lower front part of each front fender where it butts against the running board, very slight at front fender seams, and the lower box outside bottom seam. The interior seat is very clean and solid and the glass is in good condition except for the rear glass which is cracked. The Mercury radio dash cover plate is half missing and will need replacement. The wood boxfloor is still intact but covered with sheeting as the picture shows. Tires all hold air and it rolls fine. A great pickupfor restoration or as a restomod.I will provide all the necessary paperwork to title in your state of choice.
