1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1
This 1970 Mach 1 has a rebuilt 351 Cleveland 4V, bored 30 over, with Wiesco pistons, complete roller motor, with a great sounding cam (but not ridiculous). Has less than 200 miles on the restoration.
The 4 speed has been gone through and has a complete new clutch assembly. It has 410 or 411 gears with chassis connectors.
The car was fully disassembled and media blasted inside, outside and underneath. The cosmetic restoration, bodywork and paint are jaw dropping. Every panel is laser straight, with no shrinking, cracking or bubbling. The body work and paint are as nice as you will find. The pictures do not do justice to the quality of the $17000 paint job. The underside is as clean as the top side.
Almost every nut and bolt is new.
The interior is also new – seats, door panels, headliner, carpet, dash pad, and the plastic around the rear seats.
The car has a complete new wiring harness, original manifolds, and a full new Flowmaster exhaust. There is all new chrome, as well as new lenses, gas cap, aluminum trim, grill, and front and rear spoilers. The side Mach 1 cladding was professionally restored.
The car has a totally new, complete brake system, including all brake lines. Also new are the wiring harness, distributor, plug wires, coil, starter, alternator, radiator, fan shroud, clutching fan, hoses and belts, and gas tank. There are newer wheels and tires. The gauges have a new circuit board.
The engine compartment is completely detailed, as is the undercarriage.
The car has a fold-down back seat, AM-FM radio (reconditioned), new speaker, and all glass is good. It has new power steering and air grabber scoops. Everything works (except the clock, which works intermittently). The car was originally blue on blue, but is now red and black.
The car is located in South Jersey, 10 miles inland from Ocean City. The car is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction early.
