1967 Ford Mustang S CODE GT

First off, I'm the owner and builder of this very, very rare big block convertible. I know every inch of this car so please call, email, or text any questions. I have or can get you any pictures you may request and would recommend personal inspection to show how nice this car is in person! I have pictures before the restoration, during(which include original markings that became visible during the blasting process) and after. This mustang is a 1 of 1 in several ways with the extremely rare and expensive options it was born with. We all know how rare a 390 GT 4 speed convertible is by itself, but add in the rare bench seat option, tilt/tilt away steering column, AM/FM radio, and the super rare competition handling package (out of 472,209 Mustangs in 1967 only 181 were ordered with this very expensive option)! The only way someone could get the CHP was you had to first have a S code or a K code engine and you also had to order a GT package, then and only then you could add the $388 CHP package. This is an option all Shelby's had to have. This mustang also has glass rear window, courtesy light group, tinted glass, heavy duty battery, and power steering. It was built and sold new in California and has the one year only 1967 style smog system installed. This rare car was completely disassembledand blasted to bare metal to start the restoration with no surprises. It was as solid as a 67 could be in greatcondition with little metal work needed. I sealed the bare body with Epoxy primer before paint and body work. The bottom of the car is epoxy primed in the correct shade of red and detailed. Parts on the car that are supposed to be phosphate coated are epoxy primed and painted to look that way but to last longer and all bare metal part are epoxy primed and painted cast to look bare but to last as well. I want them to look correct but look like brand new for years after the restoration. As you can see in the pictures, the body is laser straight. The black base coat clear coat finish reflects everything around it like a mirror.Everything is either new or rebuilt on this beauty(no expense spared for this rare car). Since there no such thing as numbers matching on a 1967 mustang, we can only go with date codes and they are as follows: block 7A6; exhaust manifolds 7A28 and 7A25; intake manifold 6L15 the transmission is a RUG M1, correct for a 67 390 mustang. Besides all of the rare options, someone installed a factory air conditioning setup on this during it lifetime(probably since it has been in warm dry climate its whole life) with all of the correct components for a 67 big block.I've spent hundreds and hundreds of hours and lots of money on parts and products to restore this car better than it ever left the San Jose plant. If you know much about Mustangs, you know you may never see another again offered for sale with the competition handling package. This truly is one of the rarest Mustang out there and deserves to have a good home or to be in a high end collection! Inspections are highly encouraged to see and appreciate what pictures can't show. My name is Randy and my number is 608-558-0361. Like I said before, I am owner and builder(not a car salesman). I will get any info to anyone serious about this car. I own and restore mostly 67 390 convertibles and fastbacks so I know these cars well.
This is my business and livelihood, so please have finances in order if wishing to make offers and (not trying to be rude) but I don't have hours to talk on the phone if your not serious. I may also be able to help with shipping and may be willing to ship in my own enclosed trailer for a fee depending on location and my time frame. I reserve the right to end the listing at any time because it is also listed locally.
