This recent, professional nut & bolt build was completed by the famed, premier builder Dave's Garage in Simi Valley, California. This very rare 1934 Ford Model 46 5-Window, Pro-Touring Resto-Mod Pick-Up is absolutely stunning. With no expense spared, this build is absolutely spectacular with a perfect balance between elegance and hot rod.
The stunning Apple Red Kandy (House of Kolors) finish is gorgeous and is complimented with exquisite ivory/beige leather interior. The paint appears to be miles deep with several layers of clear applied bringing a brilliant shine which literally explodes in the sunlight. The paint is absolutely stunning!
The interior features a beautiful custom Cadillac ivory/beige design. The elegant interior hosts fully adjustable Cadillac ivory/beige leather seats with matching door panels and headliner. Compliments to the custom interior include: a full set of gold plated VDO gauges, gold plated dash insert, gold plated 20" Lokar shifter, gold plated emergency brake handle, gold plated foot pedals, gold plated air conditioning vents and gold plated hardware throughout. For comfort and convenience, the cab is equipped with Vintage Air Conditioning, tilt steering column and Alpine Bluetooth, sirusXM sound system.
Powering this classic hot rod pickup is a professionally built PICKS RACING Engine built by none other than Pick's Racing Engines of Santa Ana, California. With the built 383 cubic inch Stroker V-8 power house, this beauty has the right balance of power, responsiveness and sound to be a hot rod yet still built to drive and enjoy. The engine is linked to a freshly rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission which shifts smoothly through the gears and feeds to an 8.5" Lincoln Zephyr rear-end with 2.74 gears. Mechanically excellent, this beauty fires up instantly and settles into a nice smooth idle. You can imagine with the 383 Stroker Picks Racing Engine and the lightweight of this pickup, when it is time to go fast, this little powerhouse leaves the rest behind!!!
As for the chassis; the frame is the original frame with a clear VIN number stamped on the frame rail making it easy to register in any state (the vehicle is currently California registered and titled as a 1934 Ford Model 46 1/2 Ton Pickup). The custom Pro-Touring suspension includes: Heidts Show Superride independent front suspension, Heidts chrome coil over shocks, 4-wheel disk brakes, 15 gallon fuel cell and dual exhaust (coming from stainless steel headers). On the corners, this gorgeous pickup rides on brand new Ridler staggered wheels and tires. The front wheels are 18" Ridler Wheels wrapped in brand new 215/45/18 tires. The rear wheels are 20" Ridler Wheels wrapped in brand new 275/35/20 tires. The undercarriage of this truck is so clean you could eat off of it (please see photos)!!!
The stunning truck bed is finished in beautiful oak which compliments the gorgeous House of Kolors Apple Red Kandy paint. Countless man-hours have been invested into this beautiful hot rod to make sure all of the body panels line up perfectly with precise gaps throughout. The doors are all steel, the bed is all steel, the hood is all steel and the grill is all steel with a custom built fiberglass cab & fenders. Further, this beauty is upgraded with vintage air conditioning, power steering and power brakes for the convenience and luxury of a modern day vehicle.
This one-of-a-kind beauty is still a trailer queen coming out of a recent build but is built to drive, show and enjoy. This beauty has won an award at every show recently attended (including best paint, best build & best of show). This rare Ford Model 46 1/2 Ton 5-Window pickup is as clean as they come and ready to win shows and be enjoyed.
This vehicle has undergone a complete recent nut & bolt professional restoration and build with a clean title.
