1972 Ford F-100 Ranger

Amazing 1972 F-100 Ranger, 2WD, short box with rare 390cid 2bbl engine with C6 automatic transmission.

This truck runs as good as it looks. Doesn't burn oil or smoke. Very dependable for a trip out of State, or for aweekend drive to your local car show.

The truck appears to have been painted once in it's lifetime, and most of the chrome and emblems have been replaced. All original emblems, badges, chrome trim pieces will go with this truck.

Odometer states 39K miles, but it is unknown if this is actual, due to its age.

Engine has recently had the following service:

  • New timing chain and gears
  • New Radiator, thermostat,water pump and all hoses.
  • Complete tune-up including new electronic ignition to replace points and condenser.
  • Carburetor has been replaced, along with valve cover gaskets, valve stem seals, and oil pan gasket.
  • New Intake gaskets
  • New Exhaust system

Transmission was rebuilt at 37K miles in 01/2018.

New tires at 38K in 05/2018

Front wheel bearings cleaned and repacked. All brakes are like new. Shocks have been replaced.

This truck is a strong runner, and drives like it did back in 1972. All panels are solid and pictures will show how beautiful this truck is inside and out.

This beauty took one of the Top 10 honors at the F-100 Grand National Reunion in Pigeon Forge, TN last month. It was certainly a favorite of the over-400 attendees.
