1986 Mustang GT Convertible with 49,950 original miles

Up for sale is my 1986 Mustang GT it has 49,911 original miles. According to the previous owners, this mustang has never been crashed and it's rust free. And from what I can see it's completely original with the exception of a Steeda short throw shifter and Flowmaster mufflers. The paint shows excellent for being 32 years old as well as the interior. It does have some light scratches which have been touched up. Some of the moldings have been repainted and touched up. The leather interior shows the normal wear and tear for a car this age. It has a new rug and floor mats. Prior to buying this fox body, I was searching for and 85/86 mustang vert for approximatelythree years. There almost impossible to find in this condition. Absolutely one of the cleanest four eyed I have seen and that's the why I purchasedit and I really wanted a white or silver convertible. Everything works on the car, no issues what so ever. The top, front & back windows,cruise control works flawlessly. Even the lights underneath the dash and hood are still functional.From what I can tell the top was change several years ago and it's in excellent condition with no leaks.

Only imperfections that I have found are.

The front ford emblem faded and cracked. However,I will include a new OEM front emblem with the purchase.The rear driver side quarter panel molding is cracked. The dash has a small crack right in front of the steering wheel. Unfortunately, I was the cause of this. It happen when placed my lefthand on the dash for support when I was leaning over to clean the window. The front & rear bumper seem to be less glossy than the rest of the car. They areplastic.

This mustang was meant to be my weekend cruiser. So all these new parts and maintenance have been done to make sure it would be street worthy for long cruise nights.

l new radiator. New gaskets on intake, throttle body and valve covers. New IAC, springs, shocks, air filter, spark plugs and oil filter. New rear window motors with billet brackets.

The car will include a $250 car cover, original paper work shown and a battery tender. New convertible top boot $135.

The reason why I decided to list this car up for sale is, it's just to nice of a Survivor for me to do a coyote motor swap and slammed on 18 inch wheels for that Resto mod look.I would like $11,975, that's how much I have into it as of now. If she doesn't sell, I'll just keep it and continued with my original plan. The mileagemight fluctuate. I will drive it on clear sunny days. She does get a lotof attention.
