1935 Ford Other

Here is one of the most unique vehicles I have ever seen. I bought this for my wife to deliver paint a few years ago and we have not done anything with it. It's a 1935 body, has a late model van top on it. The fenders and running boards are very solid (I can jump up and down on running boards with no movement from them) . It's on (I think) a 1980's Chevrolet 1 ton chassis with the dual wheels in the back. It has been tubbed on the inside for the dual wheels and looks very nice. It has a solid flat floor welded on the inside (this was the selling point for us, because we could slide 2 pallets in the vehicle. The steering is hooked up and functional.Has a small block and I think a 400 transmission mounted but neither are any good. There are no latches installed on the doors nor barn doors in the rear. Also there is no glass. It's all flat glass which of coarse is no problem. Most of the body work is done however some areas have small cracks in the filler that needs some attention. The fenders and running boards are molded to the body which looks very nice. The inside just needs a light sandblast and epoxy primed. The amount of work that has been done on it, is well over 400 hours of labor. All the metal work was professionally done. We sell automotive paint for a living so we have looked this body over well and we are impressed. This vehicle would be unreal with a powerstroke set up. We have just decided to sell because we have put 2 other restoration projects in front of it, and we have people who constantly come by asking how much we want for it but never get a cash offer (and we are not financing to family)
The Bad of this vehicle : I can not locate a vin number (new firewall, and updated chassis) I don't know where else to look. You are welcome to come out and look at the it. We are 70ish miles southwest of Atlanta Airport. We can have local sheriff's department inspect for you as well, if you feel a little uneasy about the vin. Any questions just send through ebay.
This vehicle is actually light weight, it's on flat ground and we have a tractor to help load once you win the vehicle. A small reserve is set, just for my own personal warm and fuzzy feeling. I have a idea of what I want and if it doesn't bring, I will just put inside until we get our other vehicles done.
