1928 Ford Model A Convertible Pickup

I am offering for sale, my 1928 Model A, Convertible Pickup. This was one of the first Model A pickups manufactured - It's body is #SFA213. Based upon the body features, and the dates of later body feature/style modifications - I believe it was manufactured as around October- Dec. 1927. (The Model A was first introduced for sale on Dec. 2, 1928). This truck had a full frame off restoration 10 years ago and has been always garaged kept since. The mileage reads 91,900 and I believe it is original. I purchased this truck from a gentleman from Germany who had it shipped back here to the U.S. He owned it for 15+ years before selling it to me, and also rarely drove it. It starts up perfectly and looks great with some minor imperfections in the lacquer paint. Drives and accelerates smoothly. Runs fine at top speeds 55+ with no vibration or other issues. Gas tank is shiny clean and fuel lines have dual fuel filters to ensure clean fuel at all times to engine.. Engine was also rebuilt when it restored with has less than a few hundred miles on it. Idles nicely - even at a very low idle speeds (see videos where idle is just a few hundred RPMs), indicating great compression. The truck's undercarriage is not only clean but appears to have little wear use (see pics). The top was replaced when it was restored, but has a few repairs as it is easy to catch the material in the folding frame ....if not careful. I did this once and the previous owner also did it as well, but it is repaired and overall, great shape, supple ...not at all brittle. Tires all good and I have an extra hub, not mounted. This truck is virtually all original, although the carburetor was upgraded to a Zenith Model 2 (or Model B) - which was manufactured around 1932. The purpose was to five the earlier Model A's slightly more 'pep', as there are 2 (not 1) fuel jets, otherwise identical. This carburetor upgrade is fairly common on the early year Model A's and if you are a purist, the originals are available - rebuilt for under 200 dollars, (or new for about 350). Don't know the early history of this truck except to say that it appears to always have been garaged, and also spent part of its earlier life in Germany. It was manufactured in San Francisco and is was the 213th made. I have lots of pictures and also have uploaded a YouTube video of it running. See the video here.
Also includes the original wood side panels for the bed (not currently attached, but it great shape). This truck is a lot of fun and a head turner, with the most classic green and black colors. I am only selling it as I have 2 kids entering college and need to raise funds.
Feel free to ask any questions or request any additional photos (Ebay limits to 24).
Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
