Description:

1977 Ford Other WOODY

You are bidding on an all original 1977 Country Squire LTD Station Wagon,I even have the original California PINK slip[clear title] and original owners manual. This is a really cool car !!It starts up every time, 2 pumps turn the key and starts right up.I just had it tuned up,and oil changed 150 miles ago.I drove it to work yesterday and took my hands off the wheel at 60mph and it drove straight down the road. The trans shifts like it should and it rides like you are on your living room couch going down the road !The interior is like its out of a time machine[the pictures don't do it justice, there was a lot of sun glare],it is close to perfect with no rips or tears. The carpet is in very good shape except drivers side by the door.It is worn from dragging feet when driver gets out of car,but rest of carpet is great.EVERYTHING WORKS even the 8 TRACK,yes when you push the volume knob in, it even changes tracks[I'm including 6 or 7, 8 track tapes from the 1970's].The only thing I know that doesn't work is the tailgate window stopped going up and down and the a/c was working but blew a belt and the ac pulley is now froze up.I was going to take off the California smog equipment but left it all on as I thought it was pretty cool old school stuff and the 400 engine pulls the car with all the power you need anyway. The paint is original and is a little faded and there is a scratch that is hard to see on the passenger side that scratched thru about 2 or 3 inches long into the woody vinyl[which is very cheap and easy to replace].I think if you put a buffer to the paint it would come back to life pretty nicely, although at 10ft. it looks good all around I get thumbs up everywhere I go.I would have buffed it myself but I just got out of the hospital with major back surgery and can't and unfortunately is the reason for my selling.I know I have forgotten some things so give me 24hrs. to return emails.I think you would be hard pressed to find an original 1970's Woodie this nice anywhere,I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across country tomorrow. Thanks for looking,Harry.
