1991 Ford Aerostar XT Electronic 4 Wheel Drive.
Here is a great little 4 wheel drive vehicle. Small. Easy to park. Yet carries up to seven people. This is a standard XL model with short wheelbase. It has the 4.0L engine, Electronic 4 Wheel Drive, Automatic Overdrive transmission, AM-FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Brakes and is actually FUN to drive.
A bug deflector on the hood, wind deflectors on each of the door windows, and dark tint on the rear side windows appear to have been added sometime early in it's life.
There are only 55,452 original miles on it. Originally from the northwest. Then spent 1 year in Tennessee, and now almost 4 years in Michigan where it has had the privilege of being kept in a heated garage all winter. It was not used in the Michigan winter. See the pictures of the underside.
The pictures of it out in the snow were from January 2016 when I had the local Ford dealer go through the brakes, a new ABS control module installed, oil and filter changed, and a new battery installed. I then drove it to the car wash and back to the garage. The air conditioning compressor was replaced and the system recharged in September 2015.
Runs and drives great. The reason for selling it, is I have a 1995 Aerostar with just over 100,000 miles on it for my daily driver and don't need a second one as my wife doesn't drive and SHE likes the maroon one better. Plus I have a 1976 F150 4x4 and I am working on a couple of street rods so need the heated garage for my work.
Two items need to be mentioned and can be seen in the photos. First the drivers seat has some minor splitting. The second is the roof has some faded paint. These are the same as when I bought the car about 4 years ago and have really shown no additional deterioration. Check out the pictures to see the areas I am referring too.
Not far from being like new. Aside from the couple of items mentioned, it drives straight and great. No shakes, shimmies, or rattles. Tires have about 11,000 miles on them now.
