1932 Ford Other

This is a very nice all steel, unchopped, unfilled car. All of the metal on this car is original to this car except the rootlib 25 louvre hood and the '40 dash. All (except the mentioned) metal is from the same car!! That means the fit on this thing is amazing!! The frame is a henry frame with p&j ladder bars in the rear, polished hair pins in front on a dropped I beam. The rear is a 8" with nice gears, I am not sure exactly what gear set it has but there is enough low to smoke the tires but still cruises very nicely at freeway speeds. The motor and trans are a 302 and aod out of a fox body mustang. The roof insert is a nicely fit hartz cloth, the cowl vent works smoothly, the windshield can open but has not been, we all know they never seal all the way back once you do. I bought the car with shifting problems so it has fresh trans in it. Now for the bad, the efi is ugly to say the least, it runs like a top, starts every time, and gets pretty damn good mpg but so does my wife's Yukon, doesn't mean it is my idea of a hot rod! I have everything minus the msd box to swap over to a carb setup, this includes new Vic Jr intake and carb, low pressure fuel pump, and new distributer. The car has a working vintage air unit, it needs charged I just didn't get around to it before the weather got cool. Also the bad, the front seats don't match the rest of the mohair interior as well as I would like, so I keep a Mexican blanket on it. The last thing is the pinion angle needs a last bit of fine tuning as the trans mount got changed when we built the new trans, its the little tic tac stuff that drives you crazy, this issue is pretty much resolved I just haven't had the time to get the car in the air and finish it,. The car is roadworthy and I drive it to work approx. 40 miles each way a couple times a month. Car is set at a very fair price for a car such nice metal!!! No patches, no rust, no waves, has probably half a dozen small rock chips on the front splash apron from normal driving, that's about it. Oh and the garnish moldings are amazing too!
