Description:

1976 Ford F-250

I purchased this truck a couple of years ago in Utah, to drive while spending the Winters in Arizona from South Dakota. I live in a "Senior mobile home community" and simply don't have the time or space to restore this truck like I planned. Plus I'm only allowed two vehicles on my property, so the truck that takes up half of my driveway has got to go.

The truck is a 1976 Ford F250 Ranger.RWD with a factory C6 Automatic transmission VIN-F25MKB29906 Warranty Plate- 155 XM F259 BUM G 38E The original 390 was replaced at some point with a 351M. The previous owner was just flipping the truck but was lead to believe it was actual mileage.

It also has an older Blue repaint over the original tan paint. Being a 42 yr old truck it has typical dents & scratches as well as older light bondo on hood and drill holes in the bed, tailgate and rails. Most likely for a 5th wheel and tie downs. There is very little surface rust as it has lived its life in Southern Utah and AZ. Overall this is a very nice survivor.

In the 2 years I have owned it, I have only driven it during the Winter months in AZ, while I am here from South Dakota. I have done the following:
-New Power Brake Booster
-New Master Cylinder
-New Right rear brake line
-New Brake fluid
-New Brake light switch
-New Sector shaft Power steering box seal
-New Temperature Sensor switch
-New Oil pressure switch
-New Spark plugs, Spark plug wires, Distributor cap and Rotor.
-New Oil pan gasket
-New roof headliner with dynamat sound/weather proofing.
-New Carb Power Valve, fast idle cam, and hot air tube
-New rear 38 gallon fuel tank. Front tank was damaged and removed
-New headlights, and bulbs in signals, brake lights and side marker lights.
-New windshield washer pump. although it still isn't working. I haven't had time to trace it down but I'm sure it's a simple fix.

This truck is worth saving and restoring. I was also planning on installing a replacement radio & speakers ast he old replacement Kraco radio and speakers are shot. Also planned were new tires and repairing door panels, new front vinyl seat cover and window rubber kit (available online). That is one downfall to the warm climate. As it is now I have a seat cover over the torn seat cushion.
It drives and handles very well. I have over $5k in improvements in the truck and am not giving it away. I know the price on these trucks seem to be all over the board, but remember it is not a F150, It is a F250, Super cab, Long bed, factory air(not hooked up), automatic, power steering and brakes. Hagerty has it as one of the top 10 or 15 new collectible car/trucks. If I don't sell it before returning to SD I'll let it sit until next year with a higher value. This is an excellent opportunity to own a Classic 70s truck. As is/No Warranties. No scammers.
