Description:

1971 Ford Torino Fastback

This a NO RESERVE auction! Bidding is set at a low 2500.00 and goes till it sells in 7 days!1971 Ford Torino(Originally equipped) V8, Automatic on the column, Power steering, Power brakes, A/C, Landau top carLandau top has been removed, AC compressor components in engine compartment are long gone.
Has NEW upper and lower ball joints, control arms, tie rod ends, new wheels and tires, front end alignment, Previous owner supplied us with a Performance intake and Holley carb, chrome valve covers, air cleaner, and a new high energy ignition system. We also have a brand new headliner and stripe kit for this vehicle.Once we got it running and driving Owner decided they did not want to pay the bill.We had acquired this vehicle as a Lien sale from an owner who spent thousands on above repairs. We registered in our name and currently has a Clear Title and California platesThe car starts, runs and drives however it had been sitting for several years before we repaired it, and several years after we repaired it.For this reason and this reason only, even though you can easily start it and drive it around the block. I would recommend for the new owner to BRING A TRAILER for this car. It is on a non-operational status and so does not have "current" tags.I had to put it on my trailer to take to California Highway Patrol and DMV to get Vehicle Identification Number Verification due to the fact it was a lien sale.IT NOW HAS A CLEAR TITLE and is registered in California and on a non operational status (1 year registration will have to be paid to drive on street)TRAILER IS NOT INCLUDED IN AUCTION!It is currently off the trailer in our yard waiting for a new owner that has the time and effort to finish this project. The reason we are selling is WE ALREADY HAVE too many projects and do not need anotherUnder carriage is in great condition and has no rust thru just minor surface rust. The body work and little interior work were clearly done by a Do it your-self-er and are not very good quality restorations. (Paint is peeling behind driver side rear wheel due to poor preparation prior to painting.)It is a great 10 footer. (looks good at 10 feet) With some determination and work though, this vehicle would make a great daily driver (Possible GT Clone)while you bring it back to it original gloryThis is the original engine/transmission HOWEVER, IT IS NOT A GT!!Picture of vehicle with a stripe on side is what this car may have originally looked like with landau topTHIS IS ONLY A REPRESENTATION OF WHAT CAR "COULD" LOOK LIKE.IT IS NOT A PICTURE OF THE CAR IN THIS AUCTIONAgain I say THIS CAR IS NOT A GT!We are selling this car AS IS, and WHERE IS. No Warranties are expressed or impliedAny Questions please reply by email. We are located in Morro Bay, Ca. and are halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco on the Coast. If you have any Doubts about this car I recommend you come view it first before you bid on it
