1930 Ford Model A Street Rod

This nicely crafted 1930 Ford Tudor sedan has a great look that's almost timeless, ffering clean lines, olid construction, nd totally built for comfort. Today, t's a fully-sorted rod that's ready to hit the road and look great doing it, ith a perfect stance, eally nice paint, nd a comfortable interior that is perhaps the ideal combination of practicality and style.More stylish than a four-door sedan and more comfortable than a business coupe, he Tudor was Ford's bread-and-butter car that seemed to do it all. Rendered in a very attractive shade of medium blue, t takes on a whole new dimension, nd yes Ford fans, hat's 100% Henry steel on the body. Fiberglass fenders and running boards were subtly tweaked to work with the fat tires and lowered stance, hen covered with more of that dazzling two-stage paint that makes this Ford really stand out on the show field. Great attention to detail explains why this was a magazine cover car, nd despite the flashy look finish, t's subtle in its modifications, porting only a relocated gas filler cap and a set of blue dot taillight lenses as modifications. Even the cowl lights and door handles survived the transformation intact, nd all the stainless and chrome still looks great with a vintage shine. The top insert is in excellent condition and a few well-placed pinstripes give it an old-school look that really works well.In 1930, he Tudor came standard with bucket seats, lthough the chairs in place today are a bit more modern. Sure, hey're a little plusher and a little more comfortable for cross-country hauls, ut they look right in the stylish 2-door body. Blue upholstery is the right choice, ince you don't want to compete with the paint, nd the durable materials still look great even after a few years and many miles of cruising. The pillow-tufted velour on the seats and door panels isn't for everyone, ut it's nicely done and has an inviting look that does seem right for the upright little sedan. The original Model A instrument panel has been replaced by an oak instrument panel with a full array of VDO gauges, nd an A/C system has been neatly integrated into the dash as well. A tilt column and an AM/FM/CD stereo system are great upgrades for cruising and the full-sized back seat means that this is a legitimate 4-passenger hot rod. Climb in and discover how easy it is to get comfortable. This A has more than a few tricks up its sleeves, oo. The engine is a 351 cubic inch Windsor V8 topped by an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, combination that was perfected decades ago so you can hit the road without worries. Packaging is tight in the Model A's engine bay, ut thanks to careful fabrication, verything fits under the stock hood and stays cool thanks to a massive radiator and electric fan. A few chrome dress-up items, lus those aluminum Ford Motorsport valve covers, ive it a clean underhood look at shows and the wiring is all new. It's backed by a C4 3-speed automatic transmission spinning a vintage Corvette independent rear end. Up front there's a Corvair independent setup and four-wheel disc brakes give it massive stopping power for such a lightweight vehicle. Mellow-sounding mufflers sound just about right and terminate in a pair of close-set tips just under the luggage rack. Wheels are polished Torque Thrusts and wear staggered 195/70/14 front and 235/70/15 rear BFGoodrich radials.A classic rod with a few twists under its skin and a very reasonable price, hat's not to love about this awesome Model A?
