Description:

1963 Ford Galaxie 2 door

Ran the vin # and car was originally Turquoise in color, made March 15, in Los Angeles, Ca. had 3:25-1 axle, Cruise-o-Matic transmission. Sometime between new and when I bought it they painted it black, installed a 390 engine, and converted it to a 4 speed transmission, don't know the brand. Listed pictures of linkage. First picture on trailer is the way I received the car.Had one in high school, wanted to relive my childhood. Car came to me with 390 engine w/Tri Power carbs. Leaked oil every time I drove it.Dropped the oil pan it was full of brass and shavings. Rebuilt engine to about 425HP. Of course then you have to replace everything else. Completely rebuilt the car from front to back with all new parts from Jegs and Summit,. Added new vintage air conditioner, engine overhaul, exhaust.Has less than 1000 miles on it. It is the best of both worlds, plenty of power to play with the mustangs and chargers, but gentle enough to drive any where you want to go. This is as close to a brand new 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 as you will find for the money. This is not a show car, the paint is fair but the car is built to drive, either on the streets or the race track. Won second place in the Ford Muscle Car division at the Thunder on the Plains car show last year. I have all the documents to back it up. I'm to old and large to fit in it comfortably. Still a ball to drive and mess with the kids in their hot rods. But can't justify the cost to drive once a month. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges or can be picked up here.Deposit is non refundable if not paid in full within 7 days of auction ending. HAVE ATTACHED A PAGE WITH ALL REPAIRS MADE TO CAR. I have relisted this with all the errors fixed from previous listing I hope.
