Description:

1930 Ford Model A standard

I purchased this rare 1930 original paint Standard Ford Roadster from a family member who's father bought it from the original owner in Kansas. It was bought in the 1950's and at that time the fenders only were repainted black. The body remains with original paint with a beautiful patina finish. The radiator is original Ford. The original color was Washington blue with black fenders, black wheels and a orange pin stripe. The engine is original 4 cylinder with a 3 speed floor manual shift. The interior is original Ford including the door panels and seats. The top bows have original paint and It appears the top is also original. There is a small tear in the top which was patched years ago. I have one set of the original side curtains but never received the other side from the previous owner. This Model A has a trunk not a rumble seat. There is absolutely no rust or dents in the body that I could see. I has never been in an accident or had any patch panels installed. This car is all Henry Ford. I also have a set of original shocks, but do not have the shock arms. Seats show wear but for 88 years old their in great shape. I replaced the water pump with the newer type seal pump, replaced the battery, rebuilt the carburetor, and had a Model A expert tune and set the points. The car starts and runs great. The tires are very old but I have a set of new 19 inch tires and the correct long stem tubes. This roadster also has an original Ford Motor Meter which are very hard to find. This Roadster has been stored properly and has been well taken care of from the owners. you may call with questions Ed 909 721 0030. Car is located in Southern California. I reserve the right to end the auction early.
