1979 Ford Bronco Custom

I HOPE I DON'T LOOSE YOUR ATTENTION HERE, IT IS WORTH THE READ IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A TURN KEY 1979 DENT SIDE BRONCO!

I went above and beyond, that is my nature and wouldn't do it any other way. I have a clean all matching no's 1979 Ford Bronco Custom up for sale. This is an excellent example of the second generation Dent side big Bronco's. I have recently procured this Bronco Fresh from the arid desert of Arizona where it has resided all of its life. I started out with a vehicle that had slumbered for 10 + years with no real use but it is as solid as they come with a 99% rust free original body and frame. Please keep in mind this is a nearly 40 year old vehicle so there are no guarantees as to the operation to all of its mechanical contents being as sound as day one but I have tried my best to replace anything that I could find to be skeptical. I have done my due diligence and have resurrected this classic dent-side to a high caliber driver, it is not a show vehicle but has gone through a rigorous mechanical and on frame interior & appearance restoration to make for a reliable and handsome vehicle for the next owner. The Bronco runs and drives exceptional (you can let go of the steering wheel at 70 and it is straight as can be) with perfectly operating 4 wheel drive. This bronco makes less road noises than most every vehicle I have driven with tight suspension, brand new interior and insulation panels. I suggest taking a test drive before purchasing, it will answer all questions about the integrity of this Bronco. If it doesn't sell I will just keep it and get it painted to make a welcomed addition to my collection. Comes with the Marti Auto works deluxe report as well so you have the original build info and stats.

Small issues disclosure from the start of listing: 3 spots of filler where there are dings and dents, pin holes in passenger side floor pan, light drip from rear main but it has hardly been driven in many years so seal might swell as used, only an ounce or so when it sits for several weeks. That is pretty much it, and I think that is quite impressive. I believe in being transparent so the end user feels that get what they pay for. odometer reads 176XX, but I am sure it has rolled over.Message me with any questions, I will be happy to respond.

It came equipped from the factory with the 351M, Warner 4 speed manual, factory GT roll bar, 3.50 Traction-Lok rear axle and factory air which has been removed but the option to replace is there and easily obtainable with all ductwork and vents intact. The Engine has had several enhancements such as aftermarket Edelbrock Intake and 4 barrel carburetor, full length headers, valve covers, dual exhaust and a mild cam upgrade. ALL fluids have been freshly changed within OEM spec as follows: Engine oil and filter, coolant flush, front and rear diff gear oil, all new power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission fluid and filter, etc.

Interior: I have taken the liberty to freshen up the interior with a slew of brand new parts from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard, Dennis Carpenter and other high end vendors. It has brand new ProCar Rally Canvas off-road high back seats with aggressive bolsters, sliders & full recline keeping the passenger seat flip-up feature. These seats are water resistant and UV protected for the most avid outdoorsman and a brand new Tuffy Series II 12.5" security center console resides between for added storage and safety. It has brand new Dennis Carpenter inner door trim panels in black w/ brand new padded armrests and door cups. Before the new door panels went in I cleaned and lubed the window gear sets and tracks for smooth operation so you won't have to. I took all the interior aluminum trim pieces out cleaned them then reinstalled with Fastenal stainless steel screws. There is a brand new speedo cable installed so you have an accurate representation of speed and mileage. I have installed a RetroSound Long Beach head unit with Bluetooth connectivity and many auxiliary ports including 3.5 MM jacks and USB ports along with 2 brand new JBL Club 5000c 5 ¼" front component speakers, a pair of JBL GTO939 6”x 9" for the rear to round out the sound system.

Exterior: the exterior was originally dark brown metallic with light sand but received a rich desert patina burgundy paint job in the late 90's. I decided to leave the paint choice to the new owner since it can be a very personal preference. I did install an all new JBG's Super weatherstripping kit so there is no leaks or wind noise, which was a time consuming venture but the outcome was fantastic. All original panels were kept with very little body work needed, so that is saying something for a 1979. There is a few minor dents and one larger dent on the rear passenger quarter that could be worked out and repaired before paint, it currently has a skin of filler over it but you can see from below it is definitely fixable. I totally refurbished the rear swing tire carrier, removed the u-bolt style attachment and went with a brand new waterjet custom 3/8" steel center support welded on then had it media blasted and epoxy painted in gloss black at a king's ransom.

This 1979 has 5 brand New Federal Couragia 33 x 12.50 x 15 M/T tires and a brand new Pro-Comp 1069 series spare rim to match the other four polished rims, as well as new front and rear rancho RS5000 shocks and a Rancho steering stabilizer to tame the ride to a very enjoyable feel. Truck came to me with a Rancho 2.5 inch spring suspension lift in great condition.

I have spent many hours and many thousands of dollars to make this a quality ride for someone, I would rather bring these iconic vehicles back to life than to see them sit unused. The 1978-79 is one of my personal favorite generations (second only to the 1966-77 Early Bronco's) that I hold near and dear to my heart since I had one as my first vehicle. I and doing my best to make a reasonably priced vehicle that someone would be confident to drive with no hidden secrets.

I have tried my utmost to describe this Bronco to a "T”, that being said it is close to 40 so I cannot warranty this truck because things can happen with any older vehicle. I worked very hard to cover all the bases and repair anything I saw that might be compromised or that I felt was inadequate. It has a Dec. PA inspection from a reputable technician (45 years in business) that does not cut any corners and did thousands of dollars of work to this gem on-top of all my efforts.

Below is a list of brand new high-end equipment and replacement parts that have been added in the past 3 month to make this Big Bronco operate better than most I have seen or driven.

So please don't low ball, this is an exceptional ride done the right way that needs nothing to make you the coolest kid on the block. I have all documentation of the items I have purchased and an excel sheet of my monetary investment and hours spent resurrecting it.
