Overall Condition: This '55 Fat-Fendered F1 is Very Nice in every way... It is sharp at every angle, it was a WELL-BUILT, WELL THOUGHT OUT Frame-Off Resto-mod. It's an excellent driving machine and is mechanically sound. The curb appeal is super! You CAN DRIVE THIS Ford Pick-up ANYWHERE and ANYTIME...

It is a Great Investment As Well as hitting the road with the utmost confidence!!

If you are keeping up with the warp-speed trends of the Early F1's, you know a few important key points... They are Extremely Popular, Very Collectable, Hard to Find in this condition, looks great and everybody envies their owners!

I love the feel and sound of the truck and would not be afraid to take it anywhere! The ALL FORD Drivetrain has the perfect blend of torque, smoothness with a throaty sound through the side exit exhaust. Hit the key, turn on the Ice-Cold AC, and take off...it's that simple. This is a truck for many levels of competition, power-tours, or just simple family fun at the local shows or cruise-ins. A BIG FISH in any-size pond comes with the ownership of this machine.

This '55 has about 689 tested miles... It has been a well-protected truck most all its life prior to its extensive high-cost construction. The F1 went through a two-year Frame-off build where every nut and bolt was blown apart and replaced. The pictures do not do this truck justice...And for the diehards, "yes" it does have a '53 Grill in it because they look better I think.

The body is Laser-straight and all steel except the 2" stretched rear fenders with zero rust anywhere! It all works like it should, drives like you dream about a resto-mod truck should and is windows up or down cruiser that can just go anywhere at any time by just getting in and hitting the key.

Things work as they should including but not limited to Headlights / Taillights, Signals, Interior Dash Gauges, Heat, Cold A/C, Speedometer, Power Windows, Smooth shifting 3-Speed Automatic, etc....

Is this F1 Perfect? No and none of them are... that said, I guess it is just a good thing to state a disclaimer, but I know of nothing wrong or to report about the car. I guess if I had to pick on something, the truck does have more wind noise at cruising speeds with the windows up than I prefer but this is a fairly easy fix with more weather-stripping.

Why am I selling it? Space and money... I am selling the truck and a couple of others in my collection because I could use the space and money doesn't hurt either.
