Description:

1967 Ford Mustang

Up for auction is a 1967 ford mustang coupe restomod. This car started out as a super clean t code car with no rust and very clean sheet metal. The car was stripped to a bare tub and built back up from there. Every part on the car was either replace modified or rebuilt. The car runs and drives great and sounds like a true performance car.following is a list of what was done in this rebuild. Hopefully I don't miss anything it is a pretty long list.Body was stripped of all old materials as needed 95% bare metal .All sheet metal and bodywork was done by a 20 year restoration tech to a high standard.Car was primed blocked and reprimed to get a straight body.Colors on the car are 2011 Nissan Daytona blue with 1965 jaguar opalecent silver metallic stripesSprayed in base clear paint.Full colorsand and polish after paint was done.Custom all metal front bumper.Shelby side scoops.Blinker style hood. All lights work as they should with the exception of the reverse lights.Custom driving lights installed in lower grille opening.Custom painted grille with floating pony and crossbar. All stainless was polished and reinstalled.Custom interior with lowered seat pans for head clearance. ( I'm 6"1 and my wife is 5"4 we both fit the car great)Bottom of the car was cleaned prepped and sorted with Berliner for protection sound deadening and a nice finish.Custom center console.Pro car rear seat upholstery.New dash padNew headliner. Now for all of the mechanical specs.Rebuilt 302 bored 30 over e7 heads with smoothed bowls. Forged crank forged 9.5-1 pistols stock 5.0 rods all wrapped in a xxx block. Ford motorsports e 303 cam and lifter set. Smelling high volume oil pump. Motor came out of one of my other cars and has about 4500 miles on it.Weiand excelerator intake.Headman headers.Full dual exhaust.Mallory distributor.Msd 6al ignition box.Mallory coil.Msd atomic fuel injection with returnees fuel system.Aluminum radiator with electric fan controller by the injection computer.Fresh aod out of an 89 mustang with a mild reprogram and shift kit and stock stall converter.Original 1967 shifter hooked to the aod.8.8 31 spline rear diff with 3.73 gears and a lsd.External tranny cooler. All new front suspension with 620 springs and Scott drake performance shocks. ( lowered about 3")185 in/lbs lowering springs in the rear (also lowered about 3")Front brakes off of a 2013 mustang installed. (Almost 14" rotors)Rear disk brakes with 12" rotors. As you can see a lot of time and money have been put into this car to make improvements to every aspect of it. It is definitely an eye catcher and gets a lot of compliments anywhere it goes.As with any car there is always something else that needs to be done to it but with this car I truly believe it is down to one thing. It is still manual steering and if anyone chooses the buy it now option on this car I will install a full electric power steering setup installed and working properly. This will delay delivery by about 10 days so I can get the parts and get them installed. This would cost about $2200 to get installed if you don't choose the buy it now. So that is a pretty big bonus add to the car on my bill if you do choose that option. I will accept the deposit via PayPal but remaining balance will be cash in person or wire transfer. Shipping is buyers responsibility but I can get the car delivered to a local shipper or pick you up at the airport. The final test for this car was to let my 18 year old daughter drive it for a week. She has never driven anything older than 2005. This went off without a problem other than she couldn't figure out how to turn the bright lights on. Had a good laugh about that one.
