1946 Ford flathead V-8 coupe no back seat original ? NO RESERVE

Price: - Item location: Hopewell, Virginia, United States
Description:

1946 Ford Deluxe

Selling for a estate of a deceased I knew

1946 FORD Deluxe coupe with no back seat and the rear windows do not pop out. Door is about 36 inchs long andGrill says DELUXE on trim with the red 8 on hood ornament and is in nice shape.

Now let me make this clear this car has been sitting since the 70's I have known about it for around 25 years and has been sitting in a pole barn with cement floor. The tires have always been up not flat with tubes in them. Looks like there is a new tire and rim for a spare but no jack. So you will not drive this away or up on a trailer.

Don't know if it turns over I have not had time to mess with it so if you are buying it to keep the Flat head in it figure on going through it. If you are doing a resto mod than don't worry about it. Speaking of that I have a 1997 F250 with a good running 5.8 ATOD in it but has high miles that can be purchased separately the whole 2wd truck just not the engine. Truck is no longer available I sold it separately.

Flat head V-8 engine compartment is untouched as is the interior although you will probably like to cover the seat because it looks like mo hair and it needs a headliner.

Dash is all there and original bake lite knobs nice steering wheel etc.

All the glass is clear with no stress cracks or scratch's that I can see. Original hubcaps with bias ply wide white walls.

All trim appears to be there and is in pretty good shape no kinks bends just buff out if you wish and go.

All headlights, park lights, taillights etc are nice not chipped or broke or cracked.

The paint is old paint with chips here or there mostly on front end I don't know if front was sticking out some place and got that way but mostly in front look at pictures and looks like a olderpaint job.

Bumpers and guards are there and are straight just need rechromed if you desire.

Floors and trunk look great. I have a key for the trunk but not the steering column lock I tried to drill out pin but have been unsuccessful to remove cylinder to unlock steering wheel. I will still work on that.

Make no mistake about it this is probably the most complete 1936 Ford coupe out there for sale what a time capsule.
