I have gotten numerous redundant questions& I have tried to answer each. However, I feel it best to add to the listing so that possibly these questions can be blanket answered & additional information can be stated. Hopefully this will help all interested in the truck. By all means, I will still answer any & all questions.
I purchased this truck from a fellow ebayer in Portland, OR. This was in Dec. last year. I was unable to find a shipper to bring the truck to VA (Where I am located) due to bad weather across country.Therefore, I was able to get it shipped to a close friends in Big River, CA. This is where the truck in now located. Mynew plan was to fly out this spring & drive the truck back to VA. However, I am now trying to purchase land& need the money from thetruck to complete the land purchase.
My friend has been driving the truck locally.During this time, the fuel pump started leaking & the radiator spring a leak.A new fuel pump was purchased & installed. I new HD radiator was purchased & installed.
Original ad stated the truck had a 390. I cannot verify that. The VIN tag depicts it came with the 360. The engine runs flawlessly with no smoking. Starts right up & runs perfectly with plenty of power.
I used the original sellers ad with minor revisions. What I did not take out & should have is the statement : "GUARANTEED SOLD TO HIGHEST BIDDER OR CASH OFFER". The auction does have a reserve. It is reasonable. I did not mean to mislead any one with the "HIGHEST BIDDER" line. I simply failed to remove it before posting.
