You are a bidding on a two owner original condition Ford F-100 truck that has been in the same family since October 1964. This truck was used as an oil fuel truck and spent its entire existence within the same area. The truck was parked operable in 1976 in dry storage and never used again until being recently moved outdoors for these photos. The truck was never taken apart and retains its original drivetrain. The odometers shows 48,869 miles but I cannot confirm if that is the original mileage on the truck. The engine, 4-speed transmission and rear are not frozen. The truck comes with a very nice straight period grille brush guard. The truck is very straight with some minor dents and scratches on an old faded repaint many years ago. The hood is rust free. The bed has no dents, and the original wood is still solid and complete. Tailgate is in very nice operable condition and the original tailgate chains and locks are in good working order. The running boards do need attention but seem salvageable. The cab is nice but typical issues with lower cab corners. The cab mounts are OK, floor needs some work but salvageable. Mice have chewed most of the wiring and seat cushions but the frame is OK. All original glass in good condition except for a small crack on driver's side lower window. The truck has four flat tires so please consider this when arranging transportation. The original radio and side mirrors have been replaced at some point. Door hinges and window regulators are worn. The cowl is not rusted and is solid. This is a rare opportunity to buy a solid two family owned, never taken apart project. It is a great restoration project but make no mistake this truck needs a total restoration!!! This truck does not run or drive and is being sold as is.
