Receipts total $55,000MechanicalThis truck features a 9in Ford rear end(3.50-1 ratio) with Posi Traction. It has front and rear sway bars and rear pan hard bar. Also has front independent suspension, power rack steering, and four wheel power disc brakes. The spindles are stock height. The truck "sits right" because of smaller tires up front. All Wheels are 16in. and from Wheel Vintiques. Tires are Goodyear Nascar Series. It also features a Vacuum Pump Assist for braking with a manual switchover manifold located on left fender well . All new brake lines, rotors and discs. This truck handles extremely well on the twisties and is fun to drive. Also featured are coil over rear and Adjustable coil over front shocks, to adjust ride height, if desired.The 302 V8 was purchased from Serramonte Ford. It features GT40 Aluminum Heads, Roller Cam & Rockers, Edelbrock Air Gap Manifold, Barry Grant Road Demon 650 CFM Carb, Sanderson Block Hugger Headers, MSD Ignition & Distributor, Billet Specialties Front Runner with Power master Alternator, Polished AC Compressor, & Power Steering Pump. Also installed a Pre-oiler accumulator controlled by a lever in the cab.The wiring harness was also from Sacramento Vintage Ford and is of the best quality available.The C6 Ford transmission was custom built at Horgans R&R Transmission Shop. All new components were used except outer housing. It has new torque converter and shift kit. It operates flawlessly. Recently added was a Gear Vendors Overdrive that is electrically controlled or has a manual control able to split shift each of 3 gears. The engine now purrs along at around 1700 RPM @ 70 MPH.NICE!Lokar Products used throughout for all linkages and controls. Exhaust system is stainless steel. Mufflers are stainless too and minimally restrictive; Nice Rumble....Exterior This beautiful 1956 F-100 is virtually all new except for the cab, front fenders and grille, rear fenders and pickup box. Even the tailgate is new. This project started with a trip to Sacramento Vintage Ford. A Walton 4 Link Chassis was chosen to be the foundation for this build. All new glass used as well as window cranks. New rubber seals used throughout. Stainless Steel 18 Gallon Fuel Tank under rear bed. New wood and stainless strips in bed, new tailgate.This truck has never been driven in the rain and has been garaged since project was completed.InteriorNew Glide Seat. New Classic Instruments.
