Elgin-Sonoita S.Eastern AZ. "Rose Tree Ranch" Truck. 99% original AZ RUST FREE truck. Original white paint with a little "patina" on the hood & front bumper. Original interior -Vinyl seat / rubber floor mats /Headliner/ Sunvisors / Dash pad.(The dash pad has cracking in from the sunlight) What little chrome on the truck is in great condition. The Aluminum grill is beautiful straight. Doors close great / locks work well. Rear HD step bumper was repainted white.
3 on the tree manual transmission / 300 c.i. in line 6 cylinder motor . recent starter/ solenoid /fuel pump & fuel filter to get her running again. It sat for a few years not running. Original wheels recently painted red -original ss trim rings. Have the original ss dog dish hubcaps that go with truck.
I drive this truck to some car shows maybe a couple times a month. Does start / run & drive down the road like the 50 year truck it is. Gets lots of thumbs up and attention.
The LT15" bias-ply nylon tries are old with painted on wide white walls.
Clutch is good / Transmission shifts fine.
It has 2 extra gas tanks by "ARIZ TANK CO" added after the truck was purchased new. Believed to be 15gals. each. This was a common add on . The red square filler doors on each front side of the truck bed lock & work well. The fuel tank selector switch is at the driver side inside cab floor.
The AZ title I got with truck showed 66,000 "A" box miles which means original miles...The MVD agent took it upon himself to assume since it was so old that it had a "B" box miles designation which means over the reading of 167,000 miles. So that's what my title shows. Looking at the pedals & the floor mat I would assume it on has 67,000 miles .
Straight & true great body for a 50yr. old truck. The truck bed / tailgate & front bed panel are not bent / bowed or beat up. Recent new windshield & gasket. Look good at the pictures...what you see is what you get.
Ready to restore or just drive it as a "Rat Rod" truck.
