Description:

1977 Ford F-100 RANGER XLT

One Owner South Carolina Truck. Just came out of an Estate Sale In January 2018.
1977 Ford Ranger XLT F100 with 97800 original miles. Original 400M engine and automatic transmission.
Cold Factory Air Condition (R-134 conversion), Power Steering, Power Brakes.
Truck was painted in original colors some time ago. No body work - No Bondo. There is surface rust in both door jams. The passenger side has the most as shown in one of the photos. There are a couple of other small surface spots. Other than those there is no other rust. The truck is impressively rust free in the more common areas that these trucks are known for rusting. Looks great underneath. Floor pans, cab corners, cab mounts, bed floor, wheel wells, tailgate, fenders, etc. are super clean and rust free. All the trim is there and in nice condition.
The interior was done at the same time and is very nice. New upholstery on bench seat, dash pad, door panels and headliner. Original carpet was kept and a new carpet section was added to the back wall of the cab behind the seat.
It starts, runs, drives, shifts really good. The 400 Modified engine has good power and is quiet. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. Very smooth power steering. The truck does smoke a bit from the tail-pipe.
All glass is in good condition. Fuel gauge is not working. All other gauges do work. Original AM/FM Radio works but needs new speakers as it can hardly be heard. Tires are all good and the brakes are good although I think they could be bleed and improved.
