RARE 1936 FORD DEMONSTRATOR TRUCK

Price: - Item location: Columbus, Wisconsin, United States
Description:

1936 Ford Other

Just an absolutely wonderful piece of Ford Motors History. This truck was part of an advertisingcampaignto help show off the superiority of Ford's V8 engine. As it says on top it was a dealer demonstrator sent from the Rouge Ford Plant in it's special paint, ignage, adging, tc. I do not believe any or many exist today and this may well be the only one remaining in it's original form. The truck has been parked indoors since 1965. It does not run but the engine spins freely and the truck rolls. The sheetmetal on the truck is excellent and shows no signs of rust through anywhere. The roof has a dent which looks like it could be popped out, he back of the cab has a couple dingers and one front fender has a little damage as pictured. It has the original ford flatbed that looks to be converted to a dump bed early on in it's life
The truck was sold originally to a southern Wisconsin farmer. His name appears faintly on the doors and is still on the title!!!
I'm not sure of actual mileage but the odometer shows around 26000.
You can google 1936 Ford Demonstrator Truck to learn more about these trucks and thecampaignby Ford though I highly doubt you will find pictures of any others inexistence other than a cloned version that went through the Barret Jackson Auction in 2012..
I am very passionate about old cars and would consider cars of special caliber in trade.
A VERY unique opportunity to obtain an artifact of FORD HISTORY!!!
